Apple Pie Handcrafted Soda
When we first started experimenting with apple flavored sodas, we weren’t sure which direction to go in. Should it be a sour apple? A spiced apple? A fresh and crisp apple? Each one has a unique flavor profile. The first time that we tried blending fresh pressed apple cider, cinnamon, and vanilla bean into a soda, we knew that we had a winner. The name was the easiest part, since it, well, tastes exactly like a fresh slice of homestyle apple pie.
Sparkling Water, Fresh-Pressed Apple Cider, Pure Cane Sugar, Cinnamon, Vanilla Bean
Cinnamon and vanilla combine with fresh-pressed apple cider for the unmistakable flavor of warm apple pie. Add vanilla ice cream for an Apple Pie Soda a la mode float.
Café Cola Handcrafted Soda
It was never in the original plan to make a cola. After all, there are so many colas in the world already (as well as a few big names), so we didn’t feel that we had anything to add to the cola conversation. Then, in late 2012, we decided that we should at least give it a try. Twenty formulations (and hours and hours of research) later, we had our award winning Cafe Cola. We went way old school with this one – all the way back to old soda fountain pharmacy recipes – in order to develop this particular flavor profile. A touch of locally-roasted espresso rounds out the ingredient lineup.
Sparkling Water, Pure Cane Sugar, Orange Juice, Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, Herbs and Spices, Caramelized Sugar, Espresso, Citric Acid
Orange, lemon, and lime juices combine with cinnamon, vanilla bean, and kola nut for a rich flavor and a smooth finish. Notes of roasted espresso linger on the palate.
Root Beer #4 Handcrafted Soda
One of the first sodas that we developed was Root Beer #4. We knew from the very beginning that we needed a signature root beer, but there are so many types and varieties that deciding on a direction was difficult at first. And then, in our research, we discovered a very old recipe from the late 1890s that detailed the ingredients for a popular (at the time) regional brew. Using that as a starting point and adding our own unique spin on it, we ended up with our Root Beer #4 (on the fourth try, no less).
Sparkling Water, Pure Cane Sugar, Wintergreen, Sarsaparilla, Herbs and Spices, Citric Acid
The rich flavors of wintergreen, sarsaparilla, anise, vanilla, and cinnamon combine to form this classic root beer based on a recipe from the 1800s. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect root beer float.
Rosemary Lemonade Handcrafted Soda
Over the years, we have developed a number of bright, crisp, and refreshing sodas. From Hibiscus Lemon to Orange Basil to Honey Lime, we have continually searched for the perfect hot-summer-day-spent-in-the-front-porch-swing soda. Finally, a friend suggested that we trying combining rosemary with lemon and lime. We are so glad that she did, because it became an instant favorite. It’s bright, crisp, and refreshingly herbal – perfect for those hot Southern summer days.
Sparkling Water, Pure Cane Sugar, Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, Rosemary Leaf, Lemon Peel, Citric Acid
Lemon and lime juices combine with lemon zest and rosemary for a crisp start and bright, resinous finish. Notice the piney aroma of rosemary as you open a fresh bottle.
Strawberry Jalapeño Handcrafted Soda
One of the first questions that we asked ourselves when deciding which sodas that we should make was, “What flavors do we really like?” Shawn brought up a story of a time that we tried a very unique piece of candy from Mexico. I’ll give you three guesses as to what flavor combination that special candy contained, and the first two don’t count. There’s just something about the combination of juicy strawberries and the green pepper finish of jalapenos that just … works.
Sparkling Water, Strawberries, Jalapenos, Citric Acid
Red, ripe strawberries combine with the heat and green pepper flavor of jalapenos for a sweet and spicy combination unlike any other.
Sweet Orange Handcrafted Soda
Orange soda. It’s classic. Who doesn’t love a good orange soda? Nothing prompts more nostalgia for simpler, quieter days than a cool, sweet, and refreshing orange soda. That being said, we knew that even the classics can be explored and, even sometimes, improved on. And that’s exactly what we have done here. Real orange juice and orange zest reign supreme in this, the best orange soda that you have ever tried.
Sparkling Water, Orange Juice, Pure Cane Sugar, Orange Peel, Citric Acid
Orange juice and orange zest combine for a bright, crisp, and refreshing start and finish. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect dreamsicle float.
